With decades of experience spanning government, politics, journalism, and public affairs, Jim brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of effective leadership to his campaign.

• Experience:

Currently serving as the GOP Nominee for Indiana House of Representatives, District 26, Jim is committed to addressing the key issues facing his community. He is actively involved in state-level political processes as a State Delegate at Indiana GOP and engages with local party members and coordinates grassroots efforts as the Precinct Committeeman, Wabash 11 at Tippecanoe Republican Party. Jim managed media relations and communications for a major educational institution as the Director of National Broadcast Media Relations at Purdue University. He has reported on government affairs as a Government Reporter at TV18, Journal and Courier, WASK AM-FM, served in a vital communication role as a Public Affairs Specialist at the United States Army, and contributed to global news production as a Production Assistant at CNN International.

Jim studied Comparative Politics at the University of London International Programmes, Government and Journalism at the University of Maryland, Political Science and Constitutional Law at American University, and History and Education at Purdue University.

• Personal Background:

Jim is a resident of West Lafayette, Indiana, and originally hails from Fort Washington, Maryland. He is a proud alumnus of Oxon Hill High School, MD. As a committed and protective parent, Jim is driven by a desire to ensure that the next generation inherits a community and world that are at least as good as what we have today.

Jim’s campaign is centered on the principles of common sense, integrity, and community protection. He is a fierce opponent of the LEAP pipeline, which threatens local water resources, and a staunch advocate for improving education and ensuring community safety. Jim’s leadership is characterized by his commitment to being a voice that cannot be bought, bullied, or bamboozled.
